As many as 10% of the population in England has been infected with the common cold and flu, making it the most common infection in the UK.
But it has also been reported that some men and women are also at risk of contracting some of the diseases that are more prevalent in women.
The study, published online June 17, found that men who bought a ‘bargain’ of herbal supplements such as Cialis, Tadalafil or Viagra, or ‘herbal aphrodisiac’, had a 50% higher risk of contracting STDs than those who did not buy the supplements.
The study is an observational study that did not investigate the safety of using these products in people aged above 18.
But it did find that men who bought these supplements were 50% less likely to develop STDs.
A further analysis of the research revealed that those who did not buy the supplements were about half as likely to develop STDs than those who did.
The study also found that those who bought the supplements were 50% less likely to develop STDs as a result of being diagnosed with the virus, as well as other STDs.
In addition, the study found that the use of Cialis, Viagra or the ‘herbal aphrodisiac’, was associated with a 40% lower risk of being diagnosed with the virus.

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
